Supervision

A requirement of all practicing counsellors and therapists, the purpose of supervision is to support client care by providing a professional relationship and reflective space that is:
-Supportive of ethical and effective practice
-Facilitates professional growth and
-Contributes to ongoing enhancement and advancement of knowledge and skills.

Currently I am working as a Supervisor in Training while studying for my Diploma in Clinical Supervision at CICS (Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology) and offering low cost supervision while I train to both trainee and qualified Relationship and Psychosexual Therapists. I also welcome integrative counsellors and therapists who'd like supplementary supervision focused on relationship or psychosexual themes.

My approach to supervision is integrative, grounded in systemic and psychodynamic theory and following the ethical codes of BACP and COSRT for whom I am registered with. I consider the supervisory relationship as centred as the therapeutic relationship and focus on anti-oppressive practice within all discussions, supporting therapists to develop confidence and clarity in their work. As with all clients I encourage a free intro call to see how we may fit to working together. I look forward to hopefully connecting and supporting your practice.
