About me
'A belief held that relational health is the answer to the question of wellbeing- whether that be in the relationships we hold with one another, ourselves, or through the wider environment'
Hi I'm Camilla, a therapist, coach and mental health educator/facilitator specialising in supporting wellbeing in and through Relationships.
Initially qualifying as a Medical Doctor I have worked in the NHS for over a decade. My therapeutic trainings are Integrative, Psychodynamic and Systemic. I focus on supporting individuals with a range of concepts and tools, considering less conscious and historic influences to thinking and behaviour- and utilising a facilitative, curious and non-judgemental approach.
Starting with an initial session to consider the focus of work together and how we may fit; I encourage clear contracting and review across sessions, appreciative of agile therapeutic practice and needing to change direction as indicated.
I have specialised interest in supporting Individuals and Relationships therapeutically enrich their awareness and develop/enhance healthy connection and intimacy with particular focus across times of transition e.g.
approaching a stage of commitment, relationship endings, when facing a significant life stressor or change e.g. matrescence / patrescence (the transition into motherhood/ fatherhood), caring responsibilities, personal illness, affairs, redundancy, bereavement , infertility, adoption, early years of parenting or life 'child free' voluntarily or involuntarily, menopause.
And supporting groups and teams during periods of organisational change, team restructures and goal /mission expansion; where stressors may be high and group empowerment challenged.
