Psychosexual therapy works to enhance sexual wellbeing, through understanding sexual difficulties/challenges, or wider questions around sexual experience. Some of the areas commonly supported include:

-Loss of sexual desire/ challenges experienced with differences in sexual desire between partners (Desire Discrepancy);

-Difficulties with orgasm and absence of orgasm (Anorgasmia);

-Pain during sex (Dyspareunia);

-Ejaculation or Erection Challenges;

-Penetration difficulties (Vaginismus)

- Concerns surrounding porn use and compulsive sexual behaviours ('Sexual addiction');

-Loss of body confidence in relation to intimacy;

-Anxiety/ Fear around sex and challenge expressing wants, needs and boundaries for a sexual experience;

-Issues relating to gender, sexuality or relational diversity.

In sessions together I invite a range of approaches including behavioural- CBT, sensate focus and psychoeducation.
